MARTIN MODERN

MARTIN MODERN Overview

Martin Modern is an upcoming new luxury 450-unit condominium project, is nestled in the posh residential enclave at Robertson Quay.  Sitting on 171,535 sqft (or 15.936 sqm) of prime land in District 9, the 450-unit project will comprise two- to four- bedroom apartments across two 30-storey towers, set in lush greenery. The higher floors of the luxury condominium development is expected to enjoy vantage views of the city and Marina Bay.

A rare new project in this matured prime district, Martin Modern is thoughtful modern design, featuring unrivalled accessibility, coddled in lush and spacious botanical park land. It represents the best of cosmopolitan living with all the privileged choices at its doorstep.

Real luxury is having the indulgence of natural space in land-scarce Singapore. Martin Modern has generously utilized 80% of its land area to be developed and artfully designed into a unique botanical garden and arboretum of native flora. More than 200 species of plants and 50 species of trees will form a lovely, enchanting, natural park that will embrace the two-towered development. Residents and their loved ones will be able to spend healthy quality time together strolling, jogging and doing yoga – without crowds – within their haven in the prime district. And when Martin Modern owners look out their windows each day, they will be greeted by a naturally lush and verdant vista that few developments can afford.

Yip Yuen Hong from ipli Architects is the appointed master architect for Martin Modern while ADDP Architects will take on the role of the project architect. The landscape work will be undertaken by ICN Design International. Mr Yip is a four-time President’s Design Award winner. An extremely exclusive architect, he has designed one-of-a-kind, highly-crafted Good Class Bungalows for some of Singapore’s most affluent and sophisticated residents.

Martin Modern is within walking distance to the Great World MRT station along the Thomson-East Coast Line and the Fort Canning MRT along the Downtown Line —which will greatly enhance connectivity in the area. Robertson Quay is shaped up to be a hip & happening lifestyle destination with the opening of four new hotels, many trendy wine bars, restaurants and cafes.

The CBD and Marina Bay are about 5 minutes away by car, and less than 10 minutes by train or bicycle ride. In the River Valley and Robertson Quay precincts, a slew of changes are seen revitalising the area and perking up property prices.

New hotels, retail and F&B offerings in the nearby Robertson Quay are also rejuvenating the lifestyle amenities along the waterfront promenade of the historic Singapore River.

These changes are deemed a shot in the arm for property values in the vicinity, which is already popular for its central location and proximity to Orchard Road, the CBD and lifestyle amenities.

MARTIN MODERN Facilities

At Martin Modern, over 80% of the land area will be turned into a unique botanic garden and an arboretum of native trees and vegetation. The garden will have 15 different spaces with various concepts like a party lawn, a forest trail, rain gardens and a maze among others.

This unforgettable gardenscape is spread over three levels because the site has a 10-metre upward slope from one end to the other. In addition, residents will get to enjoy two rooftop gardens. There will be more than 200 species of plants and more than 50 species of trees and palms, including native ones like the jelutong, meranti and chengal.

A rare majestic tree with distinct buttress roots that used to be found on site, the ficus variegata that can grow to a height of 30m when matured, will be re-introduced into the condominium project.  Mr Cheng added, “Martin Modern is in the heart of the city but the moment you cross the main gate, past the mystical driveway to the arrival porch, you will be transported into a tranquil and enchanted garden.”
